AUF DEN AIRWAVES ZU SINGEN

SongFest 2020 Online: Auf den Airwaves zu singen was a series of virtual events celebrating the incredible array of talent that SongFest brings together every summer. SongFest 2020 online was made up of a daily series of lectures, conversations, and interviews by the many scholars, performers, composers, and teachers who would have gathered in-person that summer. Thanks to the support from its wonderful faculty and staff, for the first time, SongFest was able to be experienced by anyone, at any time, in the comfort of their own home!

Auf den Airwaves zu singen debuted on May 26, 2020 with a Lecture by Graham Johnson delivered from his home in London on his renowned Songmaker’s Almanac programs. Sessions were released daily and remained available until August 25, 2020. (During this period, viewers could watch any session at any time after its scheduled release date.)

Co-curated and video-edited by Javier Arrebola.
